False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start at NCV level two and also the bare minimum requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level two.
